Living the Eucharist

Lenten Study Groups

Join a small faith-sharing group.

Meet once a week during Lent to learn about and discuss the true meaning of the Mass. Study and pray the readings for the next Sunday starting the week of Ash Wednesday. Enjoy the company of other parishioners as you connect more deeply with your faith. We will provide a facilitator and booklets for study during Lent.

Several Living the Eucharist groups will be going this lent.  To sign up for a Living the Eucharist class please contact Robert Tarin at 720-9901 or using the online form below. Also, if you are interested in leading another group or starting a group on your own, please contact Robert.  Robert will be able to provide you all the information needed.

Groups will officially start the week of Ash Wednesday.  There are both day and night time groups.  Groups are in English and in Spanish. In addition, this year there will be:

  • Spanish classes on Wednesday mornings at 9am and Tuesday evenings at 7pm
  • Men’s class on Saturday mornings at 7:30am
  • Young Adult class (for young adults up to the age of 35) on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm
  • College age class (details to follow)

“Living the Eucharist made this my best Lent ever. I was able to live in the presence of God every day and share my faith at home and at work.” (Parishioner, West Hempstead, NY)

“I felt such gratitude to be a Catholic, as if being truly inspired by the Holy Spirit to understand for the first time the Sunday Mass readings and the beauty of the Eucharistic prayers. Thank you!” (Parishioner, Alden, NY)
