St. Jude Christmas Giving Tree

Please help support four worthwhile organizations this Christmas season by taking a tag from the Giving Tree in the back of the church and purchasing the gift listed on the tag.  Please return the tag and gift (unwrapped) to the church by December 16th.  Items will be distributed to the organizations on December 19th.  The organizations that will benefit from your generosity are:

  • Origins Pregnancy Care Center (formerly Birthright) - an interdenominational, non-profit pregnancy center that provides educational classes, community resource information, adoption agency referrals, and maternity and infant items to clients.
  • The Good Shepherd Center - founded by the Archdiocese to provide support to the poor & homeless by providing a daily meal for needy persons, mail service to the homeless, and, for men, temporary overnight accommodations, medical respite beds, clothing, and alcohol and drug abuse programs.
  • Casa Angelica - a home for 16 children and young adults with pervasive needs, directed by the Canossian Daughters of Charity. It provides active treatment plans designed to enhance each individual’s unique gifts through spiritual, educational, and social development.
  • Barrett House - an emergency shelter providing comfortable beds, food, clothing, case management services, and referral services to over 800 women and children a year.
